Measure the mounting position
Use a stable measuring tool and record the units. Measure the installed curtain rod or track, not just the visible glass. If hardware is not yet installed, decide on the mounting location before calculating the curtain drop.
Record width, drop and clearance
- Measure the usable rod or track width from side to side.
- Measure down from the attachment position relevant to your heading style to the desired lower edge.
- Check the space for the opened curtain stack and note obstructions such as radiators, furniture, handles and nearby doors.
Compare with the specific listing
Match your measurements with the item options in the same units. Confirm whether width refers to a panel or the stated package configuration, and check the heading compatibility. Fullness depends on the listed curtain width and your mounting width; there is no universal result promised for an unlisted size.
A second check helps
Measure at more than one point where walls or floors are uneven. Keep your notes and double-check the selected option before checkout. Illustration scale cannot be used as a measuring reference.
