How to Choose

DULMERIN · CUSTOMER GUIDE

Start with the room, then the window

Write down the room's existing colors, the way you use it and the curtain's role in the design. A tonal curtain keeps the window quiet; a darker shade gives it definition; a pattern introduces a second visual rhythm.

1. Decide on a visual direction

Compare your wall color with large furnishings in natural daylight. Warm ivory, sand and clay can sit comfortably within a warm palette. Olive, blue and charcoal introduce contrast. Perceived color changes with lighting and screen settings; styled scenes are inspiration, not exact color proof.

2. Check dimensions and heading

Measure the installed rod or track and the intended drop before selecting a listed option. Confirm the supported heading style and whether the listing covers a single panel or another configuration. Do not infer quantity or measurements from a room scene.

3. Resolve practical requirements

If privacy, light blocking, insulation or a specific care method matters, check for an express item-specific statement. A dense-looking illustration cannot establish blackout or thermal performance. Ask about missing requirements before placing an order.

4. Plan the whole composition

Consider where opened curtains will stack, whether nearby doors or furnishings can move freely and whether floor contact suits your routine. Balance a large pattern with quieter furnishings, or repeat one accent color to connect the room.

5. Review before checkout

  • Heading, panel quantity and listed specifications are understood.
  • Displayed price, shipping fee and delivery planning window are acceptable.
